Helping Mommy........

This morning I decided to vaccum while Thomas was awake. So I picked up his toys and put them on the couch. He didn't like the vaccum and so I picked him up and held him while I vaccumed. He just kept looking down at the vaccum as I went around the house with it. When I was done, I put the toys back on the floor. His newest toy (Thanks to his Grandma S.) is one of those "poppy" toys that make a lot of noise when he pulls it or pushes it. Well, I sat down and noticed he moved his toys and put them to one side of the floor. Then he used his "poppy" to pretend to vaccum. He went all over the living room, moved his stroller and zipped around with a huge smile on his face. I thanked him for helping Mommy! When he was done he threw his poppy down and played with his toys. AGH that melted my heart at how he followed my actions :)
Today we are trying a new nap schedule. I kept him awake and playing this morning even through his yawns. We ate lunch around 11:00 then after rocking him in my arms for 30 minutes he was out like a light. I am trying to get him to take one nap. Tonight we're having a warm hashbrown and cheese casserole....yummy on a cold, rainy night. I will be sharing with my boss today that I will take off of work from January-March and return in April (possibly). So I am looking forward to experiencing a full-time Mommy. I appreciate Jim's hard work and thank him for helping to make this important decision.
Baby is crying...........I'm off to change his diaper.
