G----R----O-----W-----I-------N-----G

Growing up fast!!! We measure Thomas on the 1st of the month every month. Last February he measured 31" and this February he's 35 1/2". So in one year with a 4 1/2" growth spurt, something is telling me he's going to be tall. We heard a wives tale that when a child is 3, double his/her height and that's their adult height. So let's do a little math. He's 2 now, so let's say he grows another 4 1/2" by next year. That would make him 40" (double = 80") so that's like 6'6!! We think height like that is good for a quarterback in the NFL. But Nama & Papa are hoping for a basketball star.

On average we're going through 4 1/2 gallons of milk in 3 weeks, so let's do the math on that. Oh my goodness...........that's just a lot of milk!!!!! Prehaps we should invest in a cow.

In all you could say he's healthy and GROWING. His evaluation test proved that he's right on target for his age group. He was a real trooper, being the fact he hadn't napped and was almost asleep in the car.

His vocabulary is expanding day by day, too. He is actually putting sentences together now and with sound effects (i.e. Papa vroom vroom oud TRANSLATES Papa's chainsaw was loud).

Parenthood in the Huston home is a wonderful journey and we feel so blessed.
