I can't believe it's almost been a month since I've posted. Thomas has changed a lot in the month of August. He now talks in full sentences and sometimes little conversations. Most of his words are clear to understand, while some are still hard. He copies everything!!! The other day I was sitting on the couch with my legs crossed. He sat next to me and attempted to sit the same way. After watching gymnastics on TV, he said "I can do that." Next thing I know he was hanging from the side of the coffee table with his legs above his head. Luckily it was the coffee table, not some high bar. He has gotten taller and now is wearing 3T-4T and a size 9 shoe. So excited when he remembers to use the big boy potty. Definetly turning into a little boy, no baby...........so sad :(
He loves to play with his cousins, friends and over at Grandma & Papa's.
Jim has gotten a little busier with fire season, so there's been a few days when we are home alone. Thomas loves to talk to him on the phone. He takes the phone is his bedroom, so he can talk to his Daddy alone. Such a big boy!! Jim is so excited because when fire season ends, we want to take our first "annual tradition" family vacation. We are going to try to make that important every year as a family to get away and spend time.
He LOVES trains. He LOVES riding his big boy bike. He tells everyone to call him TJ, except his cousin Mary, she can call him Tommy. He is an will always be Mommy's Big Guy and Daddy's Lil' Man.
We are almost at the 10,000 visitor mark on our blog. This is so neat because we're going to share it with Thomas when he's older, he will be able to see just how much people love him. We truly are blessed to have such amazing friends and family, who have loved us through our journey. Speaking of journey, we are planning on getting back on the adoption list this Fall. We have to apply for only a boy, since our house is two-bedroom.........nothing wrong with that, though. We are praying and ask you to pray with us, to see if it's God's Will for another child to become part of our family. If his answer to our prayer, is NO, we are okay with that. We have been blessed so much with Thomas. We are putting it completely in God's hands!!!
Well sorry for the random thoughts, just want you to know that Thomas is still growing up fast and we happily busy with him. It's all good!!
