Random Bits but cute Pics

He loves to play a racecar game with his Daddy on the PS3. The other night they were playing and Jim said, "we'll play one more game" only to look over and see him holding the controller still but sound asleep. Bonding time with Daddy, can be so much fun, but I guess it's a lot of work and very tiring.

We've had a really bad problem this year with HUGE coyotes in our house.....LOL Thomas will put gun and cowboy gear on, then chase & shoot coyotes in our house. He told me they are eating our food and one was hiding in Daddy's closet. He'll stop and put his hand up to his ear (like he's listening to something) and say "there's an elephant over there by my room.....bang bang........" He has a huge imagination!! He told me the other day "Mommy don't worry I'll keep you safe, I'm a cowboy."

So I feel bad that I have neglected our blog. Sometimes being a Mommy makes you busy and have too much fun. Thomas is at a very interesting age right now. He's lots of fun to play with and talk with. Some days he's feeling independent and acts like a three-year-old. He's gotten so much taller (wearing 2T pants and 3T shirts) and he's talking in conversations. He loves to see airplanes and tractors. 100% boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fire season is almost over, and we're happy that Daddy will be home more during the winter months. This fire season, Jim has been gone a lot more than last year, which makes it harder on both Thomas & I. Thomas misses his Daddy like crazy, but is so happy when he comes home, greeting him with "Yea Daddy put the fire out. I was looking for you." That is how Thomas says he's missing you, is "I was looking for you", it's so cute and makes you feel l0ved.
Thomas has a servant's heart and loves to help. He likes to help cook dinner, rake leaves, and drive (he coaches you from the back seat). The other day I was in the turn lane, and Thomas was making a "blinker, blinker, blinker" noise in the backseat. When I started to drive to make the turn, Thomas said "not to fast Momma, turn.....whoa you got it, that's good." I chuckled inside thinking I'm so glad my (almost) three-year-old likes my driving. He's really smart. He remembers landmarks, like where the firestation is, and a smiley face on the way to my parents house. He also knows how to put his shoes on, the right foot. He likes to put his clothes on, too. Sometimes he needs my help putting them on correctly. He's mastered riding his big boy bike (with training wheels) at Grandma & Papa's house. He loves making skid marks on Papa's driveway.
Thomas loves to visit with his Great Grandma in Colorado (on the phone). He will have a conversation with her, for about 2 minutes, then he says "Mommy talks now."
We're so excited because in about a month & a half my brother, his wife, and daughters will be here for Thanksgiving. They haven't seen Thomas since he was 1 1/2 year old.

We have begun the process to put our names back on the list to find a brother for Thomas. We are excited to see what God has in store for us.
