Thomas is coming up with some of the sweetest things to say. Sometimes he makes us laugh because the things he says are bizarre. He likes to say "Hey guys, I have a secret" and then he proceeds to do this crazy dance, like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, "Stayin' Alive, Stayin' Alive.....ooo ooo ooo Stayin' Alivvvvveeee". Totally cute and he is so deep in thought when he's dancing. When we have a family day planned, we say "oh today we are a FAMILY". We sing "we are family, Daddy, Thomas & Mommy" so Thomas walks around the house singing WE ARE FAMILY.....DADDY, DADDY, Thomas & MOOOOMMMMMMYYYY!!
Thomas is really good at using his please and thank you, too. When you ask him if he's happy he says "Mom/Dad smile" and he has a smile on his face, too. He loves to tell people he's having a birthday, when he grows up. If you are among his special friends, he says, "wanna be at my birthday?" Oh the sweet things he says and does.............melts your heart!!
He is growing up too fast!! We have been warned of this, but still feel shocked how fast it's happening. He loves to help around the house. He occasionally makes Mommy & Daddy's bed....too cute! The blanket is kinda pulled up (crooked and lumpy) and the pillows usually are upside down, but it's the thought that counts, right?? He loves to help Jim mow the yard, too. We sometimes will reward him with a penny, nickel, dime or quarter. Then he runs to his room and we get down 2 different piggy banks. One is for Jesus (offering) and the other is for Thomas. We let him choose which bank to put it in, and his favorite one is the Jesus bank.
