We are enjoying our vacation in Montana but somewhat disappointed. It is very cold outside, but sunny with no snow. We have spent most of the time indoors and being at Thomas' side every minute. Jim's parents home is not kid-friendly. Steep stairs going down to the basement (where we sleep), Christmas decor with little balls (chewing size) and a tool box in the pantry with nails, hammers, etc. Definetly don't take our eyes off him. He has been really good with the fire though. The firestove has a glass door, so he can see the flame. We say "HOT, OUCH don't touch!" He steps backwards really quick. He definetly is enjoying all the attention from his aunt, cousin, grandma, grandpa, daddy & mommy. He has been very happy and actually stuck to his schedule today. Took some good naps, ate some yummy food and has enjoyed his playtime, too. Maybe we will go out to town tomorrow to walk the streets and go to the Christian book store, then head to the bookstore for some warm coffee. Thomas looks so cute when he's bundled up in his bright orange Tiger sweatshirt, with a vest and a cute camophlauge beanie that ties and covers his ears. The town near Jim's parents house reminds us of Julian, with old buildings, a fire station on Mainstreet, and parking that is on the street diaganolly. Cars actually stop in the road when they see you needing to cross. The drivers wave with a friendly wave and a smile. Everyone up here is just so much more friendly than So Cal.

Well it's almost 10:00 here and baby is sound asleep now in our room. So now we can head to bed. This is probably my last post until after Christmas. So from no-snow Montana to you, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!!!

Jim, Trish & Thomas
