Thomas & I have been enjoying a little walk (he's in the stroller of course) after breakfast. Well I checked his diaper before we headed out and it was wet. So I changed his diaper and put on some dry pants. We loaded up in the stroller and I locked the door. Our walk is about 45 minutes and he was chattering the whole way. Laughing and cooing and baaking at the dogs. Well we got home and I lifted him up from the stroller and patted him on the booty. We walked into the kitchen so I could get him a snack and my breakfast. I noticed the smell of poop, so I joked and said "I smell poopy pants." I lifted him up and gave him a kiss on his tummy. It was at that moment when I felt something horribly wrong. It felt like his diaper was missing! Now I don't think he knows magic tricks, but I'm thinking okay from the time we left he was in the stroller. Where is the diaper? We headed to his room in search of a clean diaper. When I laid him down I put him on a blanket on the floor. I pulled his pants down to notice poop in his pants falling out on the blanket. His diaper was around his ankle with a wet sock and poop on his sock. As I went to remove the diaper, I noticed poop falling out of the diaper. I am so stunned at this moment as to how this happened when I fastened the diaper, put his pants on and he was sitting down. My beautiful son was laughing as if he knew I'd discover this sooner or later. I managed to hold him down while I wiped him up. I rolled the diaper up and threw it in the trash, wrapped his pants in another blanket. Got his new diaper on and put clean pants on him, too!! He was smiling as I'm sure I'd do after I'd get cleaned up. I walked the poopy diaper trash can out to the big trash can outside. After dumping that messy stinky poopy diaper, I went to wipe my hands on the bottom of my shirt. Only to notice my hands were getting wiped in poop that was all over my shirt. I'm not talking little poop stains, I'm talking mooshy poop clumps. AGH!! How did this happen? So now having to find a clean shirt myself! I put my dirty shirt and his dirty blankets & dirty pants in the washing machine. As I turned around, I noticed 2 huge droppings (if you will) of poop plops on the floor near the refrigerator. So I grabbed some paper towels and walked over to pick them up / wipe them up, and noticed a large puddle of pee on the floor. I'm only assuming but feel pretty good about this assumption: When Thomas squatted on the floor after our walk, he peeed and poop fell out, too. Thankfully this was all just fresh mooshy poop, but not horrendously smelling! I called my mom to share this experience with her and she had some words of wisdom (after raising her own children):
WELCOME TO MOTHERHOOD!!
Oh what a poopy day!!
**UPDATE**
I spoke with his SW this morning. The last 2 days have been court hearings to determine the next step of this process. She informed me that BM is losing her services and that we are moving into a 26 hearing (adoption) in May. So please pray for the next few months and some things that may come up with family members. There is a family member who wants to adopt him, but Thomas' SW informed me that there is a lot of family history and they have really messed up their lives. Of course, this family member is a consideration, until otherwised determined by the judge, his SW and his attorney. This news brings us so much joy as we do feel like Thomas was sent to us from none other than our Almighty and ever Faithful God!! Please keep praying....................
Also, we need to pray for the BM as she is messed up, but feels sad that she is losing her child. Even if she's made mistakes, we must pray for her salvation and for her future.

Praying for you guys!
Oh man! Poop stories are the BEST! Once, Troy and I found Garrett's diaper in the foot of his footed jammies. At first I blamed Troy for not putting a diaper on him the night before. Troy was like, "I'm sure I did. Where did it go?" Then we found it. The kid was COVERED!
