So we recieved word this week from our SW that the BM did file an appeal. What this means is that it will take 6-8 months to begin the finalization part of the adoption. The BM, Thomas and the SW (on our behalf) all get new attorneys. This goes back for review to make sure that everything has been done and that basically all the I's were dotted and the T's were crossed. The SW has shared with us in over 100 cases that she has been involved in, she never has seen a judge overturn a ruling.
While this is a bit frustrating, it is comforting to know that Thomas is ours. He is not going anywhere.
God is giving us the peace in knowing that this is all going to be okay. It's in his hands. God tells us in the bible, that we should be anxious about nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.. (Philipians 4:6)
This precious little boy is a gift from God and an answer to prayer.

hang onto phil 4:6 and know God is in control... thankful you have your little boy in your home and enjoying him. In HIS timing it will be over and final! Hang in there!
