Words words everyday.

So I guess I'm not good at updating our blog. Time flys when you're enjoying a 22 month old. Everyday brings new adventures to our house. Thomas is saying new words like crazy everyday. He likes to say TRUCK, CAR, TRACTOR, BIBLE, SHOE, BALL, PILLOW, MMMM, APPLE, LIGHT, BERRIES, BANANA, NANA, PAPA, GRAMMA & many other words. Of course the fun part is trying to actually hear the word in his pronunciation. Pillow sounds like Pool. Light is LaLa. Can you believe Thomas has been part of our family almost 1 year already? He will be 2 in December at which point he will have been with us longer than anyone else. He enjoys going to church on Sundays (early) to hear myself and the worship team warm-up. He has fun in Sunday school and always has new things that he drew for us. Lots of fun. We are having fun learning how to discipline for certain behaviors. We've read books, talked to friends and done some research on the internet. I guess each child is unique because we aren't having much success. A dear friend had some wise advice, that whatever we do, do it consistently.
As fire season slows down, Daddy is home more, so that is nice. Thomas has an amazing Daddy who loves to play with him, watch "choo choo" on the TV and play hide-n-seek. It's nice to have Daddy help with night-time routines, too.

Sounds like a lot of fun Trish, keep up the good work. That is right, never forget, consistency is the KEY. God has always been consistent in His great love for us and consistent in how we should live.
