Yesterday we suprised Thomas with a trip to see Thomas the train. He totally loves "choo choos" and was grin from ear to ear when we got there. We bought the tickets a while ago, but have kept it a secret. They sent Thomas this special train whistle, a cute hat and 2 boarding passes for Mom & Dad. The train ride is about 20 minutes long, at a train museum in Riverside, CA.
On the train ride, Thomas was waving to the people on the ground as we passed by. He looked like a real train boy in his red Thomas the train shirt, his train hat and his cute little overall pants (which I got at a garage sale for a few dollars). After the train ride, we looked down in the stroller to find our little "engineer" sound asleep. We walked around and enjoyed some of the sites at the train musuem, then were happy when he woke and said "choo choo". So we were able to squeeze a family photo in with Thomas before he chugged down the line. It was followed by a stop by to visit Nana and some yummy dinner. What a fun day!! Building memories on a Day out with Thomas (the train).
The finger on the nose (not quite in it) is our new "boy" thing.
